After adding anticoagulated whole blood, the whole process from plasma separation, quantification, delivery, mixing, reaction to printing test results can be completed automatically in about 7 minutes. The analyzer has a built-in intelligent quality control system, which is easy to operate and learn. Blood chemistry analyzer can be used to determine components in blood and monitor the function of various parts of the body. Our microfludic based blood chemistry analyzer device was derived from aerospace technology, which is also used in today’s aerospace industry. After five years of rigorous ground testing, blood chemistry analyzer Pointcare M will be installed on the Chinese space station launched in 2022 to provide daily blood chemistry tests for astronauts in orbit.
